Can I test the service on my own?
Of course you can. Our Account Managers will help you set up the testing environment and provide 5€ of free credits to test our service. Your Account Manager will be in touch to check how things are going and get you set up once you finish testing. You can test anything from message sending to Unicode, long messages and other features. For legal and security concerns, it is not possible to text numbers others than those registered and verified while signing up.
Do I get an Account Manager?
Yes. When you sign up for our service, one of the Account Managers will contact you over email and help you with our services set up and testing. The same person will be at your disposal for all the questions and any help you may need as you implement the service and tailor it to your needs.
How do I pay? Can I pay online?
You can pay offline or online. In many we have local online payment options available.
How do I buy SMS credits?
WebSMS works on a prepaid basis. You can purchase credits online via Credit or Debit card, PayPal, electronic funds transfer or Offline Bank Deposits. For Bank transfer or Direct Deposits Please contact your account manager or suport@websmslk. Should you prefer to request a quotation to purchase before making payment, please email [email protected]. When requesting a quotation, please include your username, email address and the number of credits you would like to purchase.
How long does it take me to get a Long Code or short code, and have it set up?
It depends on we have pre-approved short codes and we can have them up and running for you within hours. You can buy our numbers over an application. I we can do this on your behalf and get it done much faster as we know relevant people and departments.
Can I use my Number?
NO, But you can to transfer your number to our company we can use it., Currently we support Mobitel , Etisalt, LankaBell numbers only for long code numbers .
I’d like to examine the code and see examples - how do I do that?
Visit help.websms.lk - you’ll find everything from the very basic tutorials to advanced features and capabilities, with examples. Code is easy to examine and can be copy-pasted into your work. Requests are written in JSON, XML, cURL, PHP, Ruby, Python, Java, C# and JavaScript. To start testing or sending, make sure you’ve opened your account with Infobip; it only takes a couple of minutes. What does it take to start testing?

What does my account manager do for me?
Your account manager will set up your account on WebSMS.LK platform, make sure you get the service package that best suits your needs, and help you in testing and/or integration stage if necessary. Account managers are key to our overall service quality. They help you understand telecoms regulations all over the Sri Lanka, and implement best practices in A2P messaging. Drawing on the decade-long specialist knowledge and experience, they are perfectly placed to help you navigate the complexities of global A2P messaging, and point you in the right direction when optimizing your messaging projects
Which payments methods do you support?
We support a number of different payment options, Online Payments, PayPal which depend on the country and currency. You can make payment offline like Bank Deposited, with debit and credit cards via Online.

About Us

    The WebSMS.lk solution is web based on a powerful general-purpose text-messaging system and Web Interface developed by Smart E Works around the GSM Short Message Service (SMS). Users will be given a web page where they would be able to type a 160 character message and then send it out to their clients or staff, through a database collated by them. The number of messages sent and the timing of the transmission would depend solely on the company.
